The editorial staff at PEM is always looking for story ideas that cover the following areas:
Management strategies, CMMS, Industrial safety and accident prevention, Implementation of new shop floor technology, and Adoption of maintenance best-practices.

If you are a freelance writer, the best way to get the editor's attention is a simple e-mail query letter. If you represent a company looking for editorial coverage, a personalized email query, showing that you are familiar with our magazine and the interests of our readership will help.

In both cases, an understanding of PEM, its readers and the editorial organization of the magazine will help us better determine the appropriateness of the suggestion. "Why does this story matter to plant engineers and maintenance managers?" If you can answer that question satisfactorily, you're on the right track.

If you would like to contribute a column, or have an idea for a story you'd like us to cover, please send an e-mail to the editor at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
