SEW's X Series industrial gear units

SEW-Eurodrive Co. of Canada Ltd. has rounded off the lower power range of its helical and bevel-helical gear units that are part of the X Series of industrial gear units by offering the proven gear units for the torque range of 6.8 to 45 kNm (5,000 to 33,000 ft-lb). This expands the torque range to cover 6.8 to 475 kNm (5,000 to 350,000 ft-lb). The intelligent gear unit concept features finely graduated size, variable installation and a variety of modular options. The company says the large gear ratio of 6.3 to 450 is evidence that with its X Series it has met all the requirements for a comprehensive range of industrial gear units.
