Baldor Electric Co. offers the Baldor-Dodge Type E-Xtra bearing with the high load ratings and an advanced sealing system. The high-capacity tapered roller bearing insert allows for a combination of radial and thrust loads. The company says lab tests have proven that the new tapered insert has 13 to 14-percent ratings increase over the previously purchased insert. The carburized inner ring has also been designed to absorb shock and resist cracking.
