Honeywell has released Field Advisor, the newest addition to its family of mobile productivity solutions that help industrial facilities keep their equipment running at optimum performance by recording critical asset data and ensuring it falls within safe operating limits. Its software helps plants to reduce costly emergency work by allowing mobile operators to rectify problems in the field before they escalate. If the equipment is operating outside the set limits, it guides the operator through the steps to correct the problem. It is used in conjunction with Honeywell’s OneWireless mesh network, as well as the company’s Dolphin mobile computer devices.
