Welcome to the PEM E-Newsletter!
I
want to thank PEM E-Newsletter subscribers and magazine readers for
their valued support in 2005. It was a pleasure to meet some of you
throughout the year. I especially enjoyed attending MainTrain 2005,
which was held late last month in Toronto, and the Power Transmission
Distributors Association's (PTDA) annual Canadian conference in Calgary.
PEM
had a banner year in 2005. The magazine received the 2005 Kenneth R.
Wilson (KRW) Silver Award for Best Industrial/Manufacturing article.
PEM was also a media sponsor of MainTrain 2005. Working with the Plant
Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC), MainTrain
2005 and the PEM 2005 Maintenance Awards were other successes.
Looking
ahead to 2006, PEM will continue to strive to be Canada's trusted
journal for plant operations, engineers and maintainers. Our goal is to
help you.
Happy holidays!
Cheers,
Robert Robertson, PEM Editor
