Chantilly, VA - The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) announced recently the release of safety bulletin: CGA SB-39, Potential Hazards of Quick Opening Cylinder Valves used with Firefighting Gases (EIGA SA-08). This safety bulletin outlines the potential hazards when filling and handling gas cylinders fitted with quick opening valves used with carbon dioxide or gas mixtures for firefighting systems.
