PTM becomes MasterDrive sales rep, distributor for Eastern Canada

PTM has announced it will be acting as the Eastern Canadian sales representative and distribution centre for MasterDrive power transmission products. MasterDrive Inc. is a leading North American manufacturer and supplier of sheaves and related components.
PTM has partnered with MasterDrive to warehouse a significant amount of MasterDrive’s inventory in its Toronto Distribution Centre for ‘same day’ shipment to customers.
Regarding this new partnership, Robert Furneaux, president of PTM, commented, “MasterDrive has become a significant player in providing sheaves and related components to the Canadian market. We are working closely with Peter Ackerman, MasterDrive’s Canadian Sales Director, to promote these outstanding products. As a major distributor of industrial belts and partner of one of the world’s largest belt manufacturers (MBL), this is a fantastic fit for both our organizations.”
Terry Schroeder, president of MasterDrive, stated, “We are excited to be working with PTM. Our Canadian sales are growing exponentially as the marketplace for sheaves evolves. With PTM, we now have both the sales and logistical capabilities in Eastern Canada to take our business to the next level.”
